Open ResourcesCurriculum Design > Learning Activity Guides and Templates

What are learning activities?

Learning activities are designed, not as time-fillers, but as purposeful tools to support students as they process and synthesize new information, build skills, and organizing their learning. Two types of resources are shared below: student-facing guides (built in Google Slides) that explicitly teach the skills and processes embedded in the learning activity, and student-facing templates (Google Docs) for student work. The goal is that, with practice and support, students will be able to reflect and identify their needs and choose appropriate tools to support their own learning goals. These assets were built in collaboration with reDesign.
