We define a competency as a set of related skills, habits, or dispositions. They are transferable. In other words, a competency could be applied across disciplines.
Each competency set has an Overview tab that contains all competencies, skills, and sources. Most of our competencies are sourced from nationally validated standards sets.
Our competency sets are all written in student-facing language and are meant to be used by students as they demonstrate mastery through performance-based assessment.
